Weepu to start for All Blacks

The All Blacks have named their team to face the Springboks in their Rugby Championship clash in Dunedin this weekend, with several changes to the run-on side and bench.

In the forwards, hooker Andrew Hore gets a start in the number two jersey as Keven Mealamu will play off the bench.

Sam Whitelock swaps with Brodie Retallick, who is dropped to the bench, and Liam Messam starts ahead of Victor Vito.

Meanwhile, Piri Weepu has been handed his first Test start of the year in the backs. Aaron Smith is subsequently dropped to the bench.

Aaron Cruden starts at flyhalf once more, in place of the injured Dan Carter.

On the wood, Tamati Ellison comes into the squad in the place of Ben Smith.
