Beauden Barrett kicks off and we are underway.
1.00: The match starts with plenty of kicking for territory but the Hurricanes get caught offside so the Hurricanes have a penalty.
2.00: Aaron Cruden takes the penalty kick and goes for touch. The Chiefs win the line out and try to set up their attack.
3.00: The Chiefs go through the phases and then as they get to 5m out Tawera Kerr-Barlow snipes through a gap and scores. The Hurricanes don't like it as they feel there was obstruction but the try is awarded.
4.00: Cruden adds the conversion.
5.00: The Chiefs look to hit straight back. They get the ball into the Chiefs 22 and Jack Lam gets them to the 5m line.
6.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. Barrett will kick for posts.
7.00: Barrett adds the penalty to cut the deficit by three.
9.00: Penalty to the Chiefs. Aaron Cruden takes the kick but misses. Away to the right.
11.00: The Hurricanes are in full attack as they go through the phases. Conrad Smith has an exceptional run but he is caught eventually. The Canes then move the ball left then right and eventually they stretch the Chiefs and Julian Savea scores the try.
12.00: Barrett misses the conversion but the Canes lead now.
14.00: Hurricanes win a penalty for not releasing so they kick for touch. They win the line out and work the ball into the Chiefs 22.
16.00: The Chiefs are caught offside to the Hurricanes have another penalty. Jack Lam goes down and gets some attention so we have a quick break. Barrett takes the penalty kick but misses.
17.00: Robbie Robinson goes for a high ball but knocks on so we have the first scrum. The Chiefs engage early so the Canes have a free kick.
19.00: The Chiefs start gaining some momentum and they get the ball into the Canes 22. They do however concede a penalty so the Hurricanes kick the ball downfield and out to safety.
23.00: The Hurricanes look very dangerous when they are going forward. Barrett makes a break and the Hurricanes get to the 5m line. They drive over and Savea burrows in and scores his second try!
25.00: Barrett takes the conversion and nails it to extend the lead.
26.00: Ben May goes in for a big tackle on Sonny Bill Williams and lifts him a bit but he is shown a yellow card for the tackle. He did lift SBW but it was very mild. The Chiefs clear the ball.
29.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. Barrett takes the kick but misses.
31.00: Chiefs are playing clever by keeping the ball in the forwards as they have an extra man. Tjm Bateman almost gets an intercept but he is blown up for intentional knockdown and the Chiefs have a penalty.
32.00: Cruden takes the penalty and nails it.
35.00: Big defences from both teams in this match. Big hits from both sides too. The Chiefs win a penalty so Cruden will kick from about 48m out.
36.00: Cruden hits the ball well but it fades in the wind and hits the post and bounces out. The Hurricanes hash the handling of the ball after the kick and the Chiefs get a 5m line out.
37.00: The Chiefs win the line out and drive over the line. Try. we go upstairs to check. Ben Tameifuna is confirmed as the try scorer.
38.00: Cruden takes the conversion but slices it. The scores are level.
39.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes.
40.00: The Hooter sounds and Barrett takes the kick. He nails it. The Hurricanes lead and it's half time.

The second half is underway.
42.00: Cruden puts in a beauty of a kick and sets up a Chiefs attacking line out.
43.00: The Hurricanes win the line out and kick the ball downfield. The Chiefs have a line out on their 22.
44.00: The Hurricanes knock on so we have the second scrum of the match and the Hurricanes engage early. Instead of the free kick the Chiefs want another scrum.
45.00: The first scrum of the match is completed and the Chiefs win it. They attack.
46.00: The Hurricanes turn the ball over but kick the ball away so the Chiefs get to attack from deep.
48.00: Sonny Bill Williams finds a gap and goes straight through but he has no support. The Hurricanes turn the ball over and Victor Vito has a great run.
49.00: The Chiefs turn the ball over and SBW goes through again, he passes to Kerr-Barlow but he is caught.
52.00: After a number of messy scrums and resets the scrum completes. The Chiefs try to dive for the line but the Hurricanes snatch the ball and kick the ball out.
56.00: Ben May goes down after a big tackle. There is a break in play for the injury. Paly resumes about 10m inside the Chiefs half.
57.00: The Hurricanes complete their scrum and run the ball, Aaron Cruden intercepts and races for the line to score. Try.
58.00: Cruden takes the conversion and nails it.
59.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes in front of the posts. Barrett takes the kick but misses. No change in the score.
61.00: Penalty again to the Hurricanes. Barrett takes the kick and nails this one. It's a one point game.
65.00: Penalty to the Chiefs. Cruden takes the kick and nails it extending the lead.
67.00: Chiefs keeping the ball tight and in the forwards as they attack in the Hurricanes half.
68.00: Hurricanes trying to get back in the match. They attack but the ball goes out. Chiefs win the line out on the 10m and kick it deep.
75.00: Hurricanes looking to stay alive in the tournament but the Chiefs are keeping them out.
80.00: The siren sounds for full time. The Hurricanes have the ball but they can get through.
83.00: Hurricanes get a quick tap penalty . They are 5m out and bashing away at the Chiefs line.
84.00: The Hurricanes drive over the line and might have scored. We go upstairs to check. The try is awarded.
