Super Rugby fans have been snapping up tickets for the Super Rugby qualifier match between the Crusaders and the Bulls since they went on sale on Tuesday morning.
The Crusaders will host the Bulls at AMI Stadium (Addington) this Saturday night to determine which team will progress to the Super Rugby semi-finals.
Crusaders CEO Hamish Riach said local fans are understandably excited about hosting such an important match here at our new stadium and tickets have been selling fast.
"Tickets went on sale at 9am and by midday nearly half of them had sold."
"That is fantastic news because we would really like to pack the stadium out and give our boys in red and black the best support we can. "
"There are still plenty of tickets available for those who have not yet secured their seats, but I encourage people to get in quick to avoid disappointment," Mr Riach said.
The extended 4,000 seat west stand that was temporarily erected for the All Blacks v Ireland test match has been kept up and is also on sale for this game, bringing the stadium's capacity up to 20,600.
